On Thursday 13^th July a selection of year 9 and Btec Performing arts students went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the musical at The Palace Theatre Manchester.

It was an excellent afternoon and the first theatre visit since COVID! All of the students thoroughly enjoyed the performance. 

There was something for everyone ranging from hi tech technology for the special effects, to classic songs that harked back to the original in the 70s with a very strong move into the 2000s with the choral and sinister impact of the Oompa Loompas.
