World Cultural Diversity Day
Tuesday 21st March is World Cultural Diversity day!
Students have taken part in many activities throughout the day to teach them more about other cultures and try new things!
All lessons included tasks and activities around Cultural Diversity, from cooking traditional foods to reflection on sustaining diversity in modern society.
During break and lunch time students ran activities to celebrate their own cultures, including Bracelet making, hair braiding and henna.
The day was finished off by a big celebration after school where parents and students brought in food and items that represent their culture.
Students enjoyed learning more about each other and the community they live in and the day was enjoyed by all. A huge well done to the staff and students that organised such an amazing event!
