We’re thrilled to announce that Rayner Community Veg has been shortlisted for the Tesco Stronger Starts scheme! This fantastic initiative awards grants of up to £1,500 to local community projects, with a special focus on supporting children and young people.

Three groups in each community have been selected for a chance to receive funding, and it’s up to Tesco customers to decide who takes home the top award. Every time you shop at your local Tesco, you’ll receive a blue token at checkout to cast your vote.

Rayner Community Veg is our beloved vegetable garden where students grow fresh produce, learn about sustainable horticulture, and support local families in need. It’s a hands-on way for students to apply practical science, foster community spirit, and promote healthy eating.
